Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26 ft) for local/regional deliveries in Sacramento Valley
- Load/unload shipments using pallet jacks and basic warehouse equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and minor equipment maintenance
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery in high-traffic metro areas
- Coordinate directly with customers for delivery confirmations
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Reliable box truck (24-26 ft) with current registration and insurance
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and operate pallet jacks
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable communication
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of Sacramento metro area and surrounding counties
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
