Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and legal manner, strictly adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity and safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution to prevent damage or accidents.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (DVIR) and Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records compliant with FMCSA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication with dispatch and clients throughout the route.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license (State Issued).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road signs, and safety regulations.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to perform minor vehicle troubleshooting.
