Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods across NYC metropolitan area
- Maintain strict delivery schedules on weekend shifts
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Document delivery logs and incident reports
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (NY State)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations)
- Familiarity with NYC traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Pass background/drug screening
