Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for weekend deliveries across the Charlotte metro area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Manage time-sensitive delivery routes with GPS navigation precision
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and inventory tracking
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to FMCSA regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Handle secure cargo transportation for high-value goods
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screenings
- Basic knowledge of Charlotte-area transportation infrastructure
