Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for weekend deliveries in Austin metro area
- Pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route optimization
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license required
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to work independently on weekend shifts
- Strong knowledge of Austin metro area geography
- Pass pre-employment drug and background screening
- Physical ability to handle freight (up to 50 lbs)
