Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations across San Jose
- Maintain accurate delivery records using GPS tracking systems and mobile apps
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and address delivery concerns
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes to ensure timely weekend deliveries while adhering to traffic laws
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and reroute when necessary
- Handle cash transactions and manage payment processing for COD deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year)
- Reliable personal vehicle with valid insurance (or willingness to use company vehicle)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate stairs during deliveries
- Strong time management skills with weekend availability (Sat/Sun)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery apps
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility to work varying weekend shifts (early morning to evening)
- Prior delivery or logistics experience preferred but not required
