Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Box trucks, Step vans) to deliver goods throughout Atlanta metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and time management
- Handle temperature-sensitive or high-value shipments with care
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license (Class A preferred) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Atlanta metropolitan area geography
- DOT physical certification and medical card current
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday) required
