Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) safely and efficiently across Louisiana and Georgia.
- Load and unload cargo ensuring safety and compliance with company standards.
- Complete daily logs (ELD) and delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) required.
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety protocols, and navigation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle the physical demands of the job.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate driving.
