Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes while adhering to all DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip inspections, basic maintenance checks, and document vehicle logs accurately
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for timely deliveries and route adjustments
- Maintain clean driving record and follow all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo when necessary and verify shipment documentation
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices and basic navigation systems
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
- Flexibility to work irregular hours including weekends and holidays as needed
- Knowledge of hazardous materials handling (Hazmat endorsement preferred)
