Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous vehicle inspection logs
- Plan efficient routes while meeting strict delivery timelines
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Perform preventative maintenance checks and report mechanical issues
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and all required documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and route planning abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Proficient in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Must be 23+ years old with valid medical card
