Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans (15ft-20ft) for timely deliveries
- Plan and optimize daily routes using GPS technology
- Verify inventory and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status and delays to dispatch team
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Proficiency with route planning apps (Google Maps, etc.)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug test clearance required
- Flexibility for early morning/late evening shifts
- Knowledge of Chicago area road networks preferred
