Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) for local and regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs immediately
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize delivery schedules
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of freight with precision
- Implement strict safety protocols for all cargo handling
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of California traffic laws and mountain driving
- HAZMAT certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
