Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on assigned routes throughout the United States.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of duty status in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Deliver freight to customers in a timely manner while handling cargo with care.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Keep the truck cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of interstate traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Basic mechanical skills to perform minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- Must be able to lift and load cargo with or without mechanical assistance.
