Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS and route planning tools
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for seamless loading/unloading
- Communicate delivery status and delays via telematics systems
- Handle hazardous materials endorsements (when required)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- HAZMAT certification (preferred, not required)
- Flexibility for overnight travel (80% of routes)
