Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed) to transport goods on multi-state routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations
- Optimize delivery routes to meet tight deadlines while maintaining fuel efficiency
- Complete accurate documentation including bills of lading and delivery reports
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status and delays
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
