Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across North Carolina and beyond
- Plan efficient routes and maintain delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Represent the company professionally with all clients and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and operate manual transmission
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Proficiency in GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overnight trips
