Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) for local/regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Efficiently manage delivery schedules and maintain accurate logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Handle hazardous materials training/certification if required
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with HOS rules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Flexibility for early morning/late evening shifts
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
