Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles over long distances and local routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage cargo loading/unloading and inventory documentation
- Maintain accurate trip logs and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Optimize routes for efficiency and on-time delivery
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Houston metro area and Texas highways
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Must be at least 21 years of age
