Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) to transport goods across Florida and neighboring states
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols during all operations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logs (ELD compliance)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage documentation including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Florida roadways and regional geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
