Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over long distances while adhering to DOT regulations
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load management and timely deliveries
- Perform secure cargo handling and documentation procedures
- Utilize GPS systems for optimal route navigation and ETA reporting
- Uphold strict safety standards and represent Swift professionally
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with hazmat/Tanker endorsements preferred
- Ability to handle multi-stop deliveries and tight schedules
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
