Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and adhere to strict DOT regulations
- Efficiently load/unload freight using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and proof-of-delivery documentation
- Provide outstanding customer service during client interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for timely delivery while prioritizing safety
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with Long Beach and surrounding areas
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
- Pass background check and drug screening
