Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local and regional deliveries throughout San Francisco Bay Area
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload cargo with precision using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Navigate complex urban routes while adhering to traffic regulations and delivery timeframes
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial truck driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Familiarity with San Francisco geography and Bay Area routes
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- DOT medical certification and current physical examination
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
