Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) for local deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Verify shipment contents and ensure secure loading/unloading
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate delivery status and delays via GPS tracking system
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Basic familiarity with delivery routing software
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to/from dispatch location
