Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles within Washington Dc and surrounding areas
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Plan efficient routes to meet tight delivery deadlines
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A/B required
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass DOT physical and background screening
- Knowledge of Washington Dc local traffic patterns preferred
