Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) for local deliveries within the Baltimore metro area
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
- Support warehouse operations during off-peak hours when needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Current DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore-area roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as required
