Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs (ELD)
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Deliver freight on schedule while prioritizing safety
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for irregular schedules and overnight trips
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
