Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on designated night shift routes
- Perform rigorous pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Efficiently manage delivery schedules and time-sensitive cargo
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization
- Represent Swift Logistics with professionalism in client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Proven night shift logistics background
- Expertise in multi-axle vehicles and trailer configurations
- Strong knowledge of Texas road networks and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and substance screening
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
