Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van and refrigerated) during overnight hours
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology for on-time deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Handle secure freight and verify delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Maintain clean driving record and professional appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass mandatory background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with HOS regulations and electronic logging
- Strong navigation skills and route optimization knowledge
- Ability to work independently in overnight environment
- Twic card preferred but not required
