Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Deliveries: Transport packages to residential and commercial locations across the Portland metro area during night hours.
- Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring packages are delivered with care and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Route Management: Utilize GPS technology to plan the most efficient routes and adhere to time schedules.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean and in safe operating condition.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and customer signatures.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations).
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Technology: A smartphone (iOS or Android) is required to manage orders and navigate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in delivery or logistics is preferred but not required; training is provided.
