Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, food, and medical supplies during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to meet strict time windows
- Verify package integrity and obtain customer signatures for high-value shipments
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and report maintenance issues promptly
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols during night operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shift
- Strong knowledge of Jacksonville geography and traffic patterns
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
