Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely to deliver goods across Virginia during night shifts
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to DOT regulations
- Handle customer communications regarding delivery status and concerns
- Safely load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle servicing
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Night shift availability and flexibility with schedules
- Strong knowledge of Virginia roadways and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate pallet jacks
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug test clearance required
- Basic navigation technology proficiency (GPS, route apps)
