Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53ft dry vans) on overnight routes
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Deliver freight to Michigan and Georgia destinations
- Communicate with dispatch and clients proactively
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to work independently in overnight shifts
- Strong knowledge of Michigan/Georgia roadways
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and communication
