Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles to transport freight to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip vehicle inspections according to FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring weight distribution and securing loads properly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic English reading and communication skills.
