Responsibilities
- Safely operate company cargo vans to deliver goods to clients in the Portland metro area.
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring items are secure and undamaged during transit.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic or physical signatures upon completion of routes.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Driver’s License (or equivalent) with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in commercial driving or delivery services.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning software.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
