Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver goods across New England and Virginia
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD compliance)
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure mechanical safety
- Coordinate with dispatchers and clients for on-time deliveries
- Secure and load/unload cargo according to safety protocols
- Adapt routes for weather/traffic conditions while meeting deadlines
- Represent the company professionally at client locations
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- HAZMAT certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong navigation skills and route planning expertise
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Flexibility for regional routes including Virginia
