Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for local and regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and perform pre/post-trip inspections
- Load/unload cargo with precision and care
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Operate in all weather conditions and urban environments
- Ensure timely delivery while prioritizing safety compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Washington DC metro area traffic patterns
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
