Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated destinations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and records as required by FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and a valid DOT medical card.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy cargo.
