Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for long-haul deliveries
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS and navigation systems
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues before/during trips
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Handle hazardous materials (HAZMAT certification preferred)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
