Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Secure cargo properly and document all loading/unloading activities.
- Maintain accurate logs using ELD (Electronic Logging Devices) and all required paperwork.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely delivery.
- Uphold the company's high standards of safety and customer service.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
- Must possess a valid commercial driver's medical card.
