Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and securely using proper tie-down techniques.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance (DOT compliant).
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) within legal limits.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with the appropriate endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat, Doubles/Triples preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Pass a comprehensive background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record review.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
