Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A & B) to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records.
- Practice defensive driving techniques to ensure safety for yourself, your cargo, and the public.
- Fulfill customer service duties by delivering freight professionally and handling billing paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and vehicle maintenance.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Professional communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
