Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) safely and efficiently over assigned routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all freight is secured according to safety regulations.
- Inspect trucks for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate logs (HOS) and electronic records.
- Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the truck cab and cargo area at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if necessary.
