Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling as required.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and team members to ensure high service standards.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (Class C or CDL Class B preferred, but not strictly required for entry-level positions).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Basic math and reading skills for inventory and log management.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
