Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across Florida and Southeast US
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route optimization and delivery confirmations
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Report maintenance issues and document all vehicle incidents
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Florida roadways and interstate systems
- Flexibility for overnight routes and weekend shifts
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
