Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van and refrigerated) for regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Handle specialized cargo requiring temperature control
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass DOT physical and background check
- Familiarity with Indianapolis metro area routes
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Basic navigation and communication tech proficiency
