Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMV) on designated routes in and around Indianapolis.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) and delivery paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
