Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all packages are handled with care and properly secured.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time windows to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Interact professionally with customers, completing delivery paperwork and obtaining signatures.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area at all times.
- Report any delivery discrepancies, damage, or mechanical issues immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Previous experience in route delivery or logistics is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for logging delivery data.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed.
