Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure packages are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices and mobile applications to manage routes and provide proof of delivery.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues efficiently.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to follow complex delivery routes.
- Proficient with smartphone technology and GPS navigation systems.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
