Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents to various addresses in the Columbus metropolitan area.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures as required for proof of delivery.
- Practice safe driving habits at all times to ensure the safety of cargo and the public.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
- Manage package inventory and paperwork accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and logging.
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
- Strong time-management skills and attention to detail.
