Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial locations safely and on time.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring a positive unboxing experience.
- Observe all traffic laws and practice defensive driving techniques at all times.
- Inspect vehicle daily for cleanliness and perform minor pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
- Utilize handheld devices and GPS navigation to plan the most efficient routes.
- Accurately log delivery status and maintain digital proof of delivery records.
- Handle package handling with care to ensure no damage occurs during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate a commercial vehicle.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
- Proficiency with smartphone technology for route management apps.
